When do you think they’ll get store credit that can be deducted from their wages before payday?
My local sleazy hotel has been doing this for decades…by the hour…
I’m not usually pro tesco. But this is a pretty pro worker move. I’m a bit impressed.
Once went into a coffee shop in London that banned laptops. They had a basement for co-working where you could pay £5 for the day and get a free cup of coffee.
Needless to say they didn’t last long.
This sounds like a really bad idea lol. Of all places to work from, the local supermarket is probably one of the least inviting places I can think of.
Tesco seems like a rather miserable place to work in, although hopefully the offices will be nicer and have more natural light than the aisles. At least it should be easy to park and buy lunch
