  1. Taiwan invasion looks increasingly like the event that could trigger WW3. Previously Russia said bluntly it will support China during Taiwan invasion. Now Venezuela is also siding with China against Taiwan acquiring self defense equipment.

    On the other hand Japan recently stated that Taiwan emergency is existential to Japan and will have to intervene. And the US has a mutual defense pact with Japan.

    If both sides act on their words, basically most major authoritarian and liberal powers will eventually get dragged in militarily in the war over Taiwan. That’s basically WW3.

  4. Venezuela has been a strategic and economic partner to China and Russia, no surprise they’d take china’s side on the Taiwan situation.
