1. Dude, the maximum is such a non-issue.
   Do what the Germans did after WW1.
   Just add 200.000 heavy armed police officers with armored personal carriers and javelins to fight “crime”

2. Again, why the fuck should the defending country cap their military? Maybe the fuckers so insistent on conducting “special military operations” against their neighbors should limit their forces.

3. Ukraine would struggle to maintain an army of 800k.
   They will spend the next decades rebuilding their infrastructure and economy, and will need all the people they can.
   To have more than 800k out of 25 million (ish) Dedicated to the armed forces is not realistic anyway.

4. Automated defenses. They can have 1 person manning 10 automated machine guns. Along with drones buzzing around.

5. If anything you’d think them KEEPING a larger army would be part of the deal. I guess we’ll be back at it again soon enough though. Peace with Russia won’t last long.

6. The Trump admin should be kicked in the absolute nuts.

   Hodges is the bare minimum of what should be going on across the board of American strategic thinking. And yet the bar is so low he stands out like a giant.
