New Zealand shares were flat with positive bias on Tuesday’s close after a Monday session of sell-off on Wall Street.
The S&P/NZX 50 Index was little changed to close at 13,548.13.
On Monday, the Dow Jones slipped 0.4%, the S&P 500 lost 0.3% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.09%.
In corporate news, Bankers Investment Trust’s (NZE:BIT) unaudited net asset value per share was 1.413 pounds sterling apiece as of Dec. 24.
Fonterra Co-operative Group (NZE:FCG) said its Chairman, Peter McBride, acquired 300,000 shares in the group via on-market share purchases.
