  1. Oh this used to be one of my locals! Very sad news. It had seemed pretty quiet whenever I was in there over the past few years – I suspect being just down the road from the Auld Shillelagh might have harmed their business a bit, and they often seemed to be awkwardly indecisive about whether they were a family-friendly pub or a rowdier sort of venue which could lead to some weird vibes. But they’ll be missed!

  2. That’s a shame, I actually used to work there 8 or so years ago. The owner was pretty nice and friendly from what I can remember, was good fun.

  3. The clientele vibes were a bit ‘Essex out of towner’ (for some strange reason, never worked it out) but I’ve had some good evenings there. Always sad to see a pub close its doors.

  4. Grab the pitchforks lads. It must be the immigrants fault /s

  5. Sad, but I have to say, this place always gave me ‘pub run by someone who has never been to a pub before’ vibes.

  6. Shame, this was a great place to watch sports in their massive garden
