The operator of a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange has been sentenced to four years in prison for helping a North Korean spy obtain ROK military secrets in return for over $600,000 in digital assets.
A Supreme Court spokesperson told NK News on Monday that the court in November upheld a lower court’s ruling sentencing a man surnamed Lee to four years in prison after being convicted of violating South Korea’s National Security Act.
