it’s funny that russia accuses Ukraine of bombing putin’s residence, as if it’s not allowed, after russia bombed Kyiv 1000 times
2025 is almost over. If you look at [warspotting.net](http://warspotting.net) for confirmed tank kills. You will see that Russian tank losses are down to ~33.3% of their 2024 level excluding turtle tanks.
~33.3% of tanks were T-80 in 2024 and 2025. T-80 are almost certainly out of stock in 2026. 1H 2025 had twice as many tank losses as 2H 2025. T-80 losses were ~25% of losses in 2H 2025, and ~40% of losses in 1H 2025. T-80 losses excluding turtles in the last 3 months were 6, 4, and 6. In the last 3 months of 2024 they were 32, 28, and 14.
Unless we see new variants and new production of tanks, like the T-90M2, in 1H 2026 then it is almost certain we will see tank losses of 33.3%-50% of their current levels.
