It helped with perspective and get me through some tough times, first year doing this, will definitely do it again next year.

Damn, what happened during spring-summer?
Dang man. End of March looks like it was quite the rollercoaster.
Edit: Just read your other comment. Sorry man.
Thanks for sharing. Really sorry for your loss. It’s a pretty wonderful tool I think for people to help track emotional state. Glad to see some green creeping into fall and winter. All the best in 2026

At least you rebounded. I keep a “crying log” but I’ve never thought to track the good days.
Solid rebound, good work man, keep it up! I lost my brother a few years ago and the pain never goes away, you just learn to live with it.
Reading the comments I see you had a loss in March, but I’m curious as to the latitude you live at since at my northern latitude typically are more depressed in winter vs. summer?
What happened to August 31st?
This sounds really fun. I gotta do this next year.
What time of day do you assign the day’s color?
Thanks for this, this is the kinda thing that gets me through, being able to see visually that things improve over time and see the ups and downs. I’ve been doing similar by keeping track of my days in a journal but I live this idea with the colours much more
Cool data.
Did you try to do some analysis if any day of the week is unexpectedly better or worse than others?
Did you decide to do this at the beginning of the year or did you have to retroactively fill in earlier days? I think this is a great tool your parents with young children, especially babies. It can feel like you have had nothing but hard days for months on end, because its hard to remember the good days that come here and there. Happy (early) New Year!
What made the awesome days awesome?
I just feel like most of mine sit very much in a middle range.
Can’t tell if I’m being ungrateful or need to try and make an effort to make them awesome.
