    I hope at least a few countries in Europe can show the others that it can be done and that the waves are not unavoidable…

    That said, winter is only just starting to roll in…

  2. I don’t see how it can be avoided tbh. For example, Ireland’s vaccination rate is actually higher than Spain yet we are currently being hit by our biggest wave yet in terms of infections. Thankfully ICU cases have remained much lower so far but we know there is usually a lag between infections and hospitalizations, hopefully it means the vaccine is doing its job.

    Hope it works out for you guys, but its hard to see how Spain can magically avoid another wave that seems to now be hitting everywhere in Europe.

  3. If any country will serve as an example of how a high vaccination rate affects Covid-19 it will de Portugal with their 86%.
