  1. That’s actually impressive to be honest. Just shows strict gun laws work.

  2. Couldn’t process any of this, all I could see was that tuft of facial hair sticking out.

  3. Well, *now* they’ve fucked it 😉

That said, that’s a major achievement against gangland crime.

  4. Gangs are better at avoiding detection Gardai are getting worse

  5. Great news. According to this sub it’s like south Central Los Angeles out there on the streets

  6. Great news but I fear the country is being flooded with the latest most modern 3D printed guns

  7. There have been shooting victims, they just weren’t killed.

  8. There’s been a major drop-off since COVID hit in March 2020. Lots of experienced gangland shooters were locked up or killed over the previous decade. It seems the younger crowd still in the street are less capable and/or willing. It just seems very hard to get away with shooting someone in Ireland these days. So fair play to the guards in that regard.

  9. This is a great news story and should be highlighted and celebrated more across the media and the country!!

Well done to all, especially the gardai

  10. Can we throw stones at Enoch?

*_Yes, I know stoning is more his style_

  11. There is still time, don’t get excited before the year is actually over.

  12. 1 day left – time to fly home and pad the stats…

  13. The headline should make it clear they’re referring to 2025.

It sounds like nobody has been killed by a gun in Ireland in 60 years.

  14. Can we blame immigrants for this or is it the government’s fault?

  15. So we’ve just got today and tomorrow?
    CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

  16. Not sure how true it is, but I read somewhere that in 1960 there was 1 murder in the country. One. For the whole country.

  17. Someone in Carlow was killed by an accidental shooting while hunting a few weeks ago, so they must only be counting murder/manslaughter
