Export growth has been driven in large part by the region’s chamomile, which accounts for more than half of total output and is prized by international buyers for its rich essential oils and consistent quality.
Long‑standing relationships with foreign partners have helped Croatian tea brands sustain global demand, with some buyers importing products for over 20 years. Quality control begins on the farm and continues through careful drying and processing, ensuring that Podravina teas meet stringent standards sought by overseas markets.
