Israel says it will bar aid groups, including Doctors Without Borders, from Gaza

1. This is a disgrace. 

   First they murdered almost an entire generation, destroyed all public buildings and killed medical personal and humanitarian helpers. 

   Then they made a famine.

   Then they took more than 60% of the land as a security zone.

   Then they limited entry of humanitarian aid. 

   And now they’re stopping world famous and efficient humanitarian groups? 

   This sure looks like a genocide. 

2. Remember, nothing yells “just defending ourselves” like blocking humanitarian aid and directly threatening Doctors Without Borders for the “crime” of trying to treat sick and starving infants. Just like how Israel was “just defending itself” when it murdered Hind Rajab, her family, and the paramedics that tried to save their lives.

   THAT is what Zionists mean by “defending themselves”. They think it’s “defending themselves” to gun down unarmed and shirtless hostages in the streets. They think it’s “defending themselves” to shoot children who were just playing in their own backyard. They think it’s “defending themselves” to kidnap innocent civilians and use them as human meat shields whilst clearing possibly booby trapped buildings.

   But god forbid you have the audacity to call them doing those things evil, because then they’ll yell over you about how you’re being so antiseptic.

I wonder why Doctors Without Borders refused to comply with basic verification requirements when roughly 85% of other humanitarian aid organizations operating in the same environment had no issue meeting those standards. That kind of refusal raises fair questions about transparency and accountability, especially given the scale and sensitivity of the aid involved.

4. > Israel says the rules are aimed at preventing Hamas and other militant groups from infiltrating the aid organizations. But the organizations say the rules are arbitrary and warned that the new ban would harm a civilian population desperately in need of humanitarian aid.

   Of course it’s arbitrary and flimsy. They’ll just ban and restrict however they want to maximize suffering, then blame it on Hamas.

5. >Israel failed to confirm that the data collected from the new regulations wouldn’t be used for military or intelligence purposes, raising serious security concerns, said Athena Rayburn, the executive director of AIDA, an umbrella organization representing over 100 organizations that operate in the Palestinian territories. She noted that more than 500 aid workers have been killed in Gaza during the war.

   >“Agreeing for a party to the conflict to vet our staff, especially under the conditions of occupation, is a violation of humanitarian principles, specifically neutrality and independence,” she said.

   >Rayburn said organizations expressed their concerns and offered alternatives to submitting staff lists, such as third-party vetting, but that Israel refused to engage in any dialogue.

   Definitely concerning. And Israel is banning from Gaza any aid worker who’s called for a boycott of Israel, but of course the religious nationalist IDF commander who oversaw the murders of the seven WCK aid workers had previously signed a letter calling for a complete blockade of all humanitarian supplies into Gaza. Because treating Israel like a pariah is somehow so much worse than advocating collective punishment of a civilian population.

6. > Some aid groups say they didn’t submit the list of Palestinian staff, as Israel demanded, for fear they’d be targeted by Israel, and because of data protection laws in Europe. “It comes from a legal and safety perspective. In Gaza, we saw hundreds of aid workers get killed,” Low explained.

   Israel is basically asking the organizations for kill lists, to make it easier to murder more doctors, healthcare workers, and aid workers.
