Moscow has released video showing its Oreshnik missile system entering active combat duty in Belarus, a close ally bordering NATO and Ukraine. Russian officials say the missile travels at more than ten times the speed of sound and is impossible to intercept. Capable of carrying multiple independently targetable warheads, Oreshnik dramatically shortens warning times in any conflict. The deployment comes amid rising tensions over Ukraine and as President Vladimir Putin signals that the system will soon enter service inside Russia itself.
