  9. The Trump administration has been breaking the law by failing to produce these files on time. A law was passed specifically requiring them to release all these files. They want you to throw up your hands and say “better late than never” because they’re skirting the law in a lot of other ways and they want to normalize this.

    It’s a huge scandal. This is unacceptable behavior.

  21. How 5.2 million pages went from being on Bondi’s desk, to never existing, to needing more time to review them is something that cannot be logically explained. All three excuses don’t make sense separately or in any combination.

  22. Congress passed and Trump SIGNED a law requiring the release of these documents. Since then, theyā€™ve shoved their thumbs up their asses and refused to do so.   38. The amount of documents seem to be growing larger every time I hear about it. I’m sure they’ll get around to releasing the latest files in about 59 years after they’re done releasing the prequel documents and the prequel sequel pre release documents

  39. As a layman over here, I cannot understand how one case could generate 5.2 million pages of documents. Iā€™m not sure the Holy Roman Empire generated 5.2 million pages of documents.

    Srill release the files, but the federal government wouldnt be dead focused on loopholes and also getting it released.
