  1. I love that site. I did not realise New York state is that big.

  2. Def found this interesting, didn’t think Svalbard was as big!

  3. Things like this just make it even more crazy when we perform on the bug stage vs other massive countries

  4. ~~These places may be a lot bigger than us, but are they better than us?~~

    Yeah, probably. Sorry, never mind.

  5. This is fun. I now live in California and seeing it laid out over the island is crazy (even though I know it’s a huge state). Also lived in British Columbia and did the comparison – mind blowing.

  6. Surely Ukraine is larger, flew over it once and remember fields of corn that went on for miles and miles.

  7. tenerife is about the same size as county derry

  8. The Iceland one surprised me. I know a lot of people do a full lap of Iceland when visiting there. But I’d never imagine someone doing a lap of Ireland so easily.

  9. Most interesting thing ever posted on this sub, thanks for making my poo time enjoyable op👍

  10. I’m looking at all these overlays and my immediate thought is ‘Thank fuck I don’t have to drive that’

  11. 13/18 is incorrect. That’s part of Free Palestine!

    Fuck the genocidal state!

  12. Mad to think that Ireland and Iceland are almost the same size… yet half the world is Irish.

  13. Btw it takes like 2.5 hours to get a train from where “Derry” is to where “Limerick” is in Taiwan. It’s ridiculous 😭

  14. Israel, how can some place so small cause so much misery.

  15. It’s when you move Ireland on the map to the equator you realise how small it is.

It always makes me laugh when I hear somebody say they’re taking ‘6 weeks’ to travel South America. That website shows even one of the smaller countries like Colombia is almost the same size as France, Germany and the UK combined
