8. The story is Jay Chandrasekhar (he directed the episode) recalling the events of when Chevy Chase said the N-word and YNB left the set.

   This doesn’t seem like something she should be annoyed about, Jay was there and is just saying what happened. In his quote he doesn’t even “speak for” YNB, he just says that on the day she refused to come back to set unless Chevy apologised – which again is him recalling what happened for his POV.
