  5. I know the situation is preaty fucked but for some you just got to Gdańsk in this weather with 40 minuts delay (I was supose to ride 1.45 hour) the worst part were the people in my train anything other? Could be worse

  7. Events like that happen 1-2 times per year max. It doesn’t make sense to employ more people just to handle it. What will all the extra employees do during the rest of the year? They’re doing everything they can with the resources they have.

  8. When are Geothermal wells used to pipe “ground temp water” (the deeper gii go, the warmer it gets!) thru pavement to eliminate snow buildup and wet roads going yo finally be a thing??

    In the Voroshilovsky District there’s a **private-housing area** — detached houses, still inside Volgograd. The city wouldn’t clear the snow there, and sometimes we literally couldn’t open the front door. There was more than 1.5 meters of snow just overnight. It was a combination of snowstorm + extreme wind and by the morning our doorway got blocked by all this snow.

    Good old times, when you literally had to shovel your way out just to get to university 😌

  14. Wait, are there any train stations left in MÅ‚awa?

    I remember that a new station and a mall was being built, then opened, then closed after a year or so. I mean the train station, not the mall, the mall is OK.
