  1. When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt.

    —Leviticus 19:33–34

  2. Like actually practicing what it preaches or stoning anyone who isnt an ultra nationalist?

  3. ‘A society aligned more closely with the teachings of Jesus would be a happier one’ the article reads.

Who’s gonna tell Reform that Jesus was a refugee?

I also wonder what they think of the Matthew 25:41-45 verse, where Jesus said as follows:

*For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me.Ā  I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.Ā Ā I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home.Ā  …  Then they will reply, ā€˜Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’  Ā And [I] will answer, ā€˜ā€¦ when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.ā€™ā€*

  4. So they are slipping towards white Christian nationalism? That’s what we’re seeing right?

  5. > A society aligned more closely with the teachings of Jesus would be a happier one

A society aligned more closely with the teachings of Jesus would have fuck all to do with Reform plc, not that that little fact would bother the plastic Christian scum that support them.

  6. How about we bin all religions in 2026 and stop pretending like some books written and consumed by unwashed hoards hundreds of years ago are relevant or important today.

  7. How about confidently not believing in any religion so that it can’t negatively impact our politics?

  8. Farage is a cheap Thunderbirds villain puppet knockoff of Trump. Values and religion are an anathema to both.

  9. He should visit churches accross the country, they are empty and dilapidated. I attended a church with my parents and the only people there were eldely folks and 2-3 younger families with children. The poor pastor did everything from giving communion, playing the piano and preaching and then greeting the congregants after the service.

People have abandoned christianity in this country.

  10. It was so obvious that they would pull the religious card.

Can’t wait for the abortion debate when they get into government /s

  11. Sorry I don’t believe in fairytales, plus Jesus was famously welcoming to strangers anyway.

  12. Farage has been meeting a lot of the ultra Christian right in USA. Guess they want to see U.K. more aligned to them than the liberal left.

  13. When was the uk a proud Christian country?

I’ve always remembered this country as being secular and leaving religion out of controlling the state and separate from politics

  14. It’s gonna be trendy to be a Christian again

ā€œRather be down spoons than church on a Sunday but still luv me Jesusā€

  15. Fuck off, let’s not go backwards towards religion.

  16. Religious fundamentalist turncoat MP, advocates Christian teachings for others, but voting record shows opposite of his proselytised beliefs.

  17. Are you allowed to get divorced a couple of times.. as super Christian?

  18. Nah religion is a personal choice and Britian should stay secular.Ā

  19. These people are seriously misjudging how enthusiastic the British public are about Christianity.

  20. Immigrant Christians are singlehandedly keeping churches open all over the UK.Ā

  21. No thanks, most Christians seem to act decidedly unchristian so if they can’t follow their fucking religion why should I be forced to change my life

  22. Why do we have to endlessly import this Christianity bullshit from the States

  23. Why? Most of us are non religious.

I don’t think we should slide towards more religious adherence whatever that religion is.

    Science is the way forwards.

  24. I agree on paper, and after reading the article (which is pretty short) I can’t say I disagree with his beliefs about family and local communities. But, making a country ā€œconfidently Christianā€ means a lot more than what the average Reform MP thinks. I don’t think the Britain we’ll get with them in charge will reflect Christian values.

  25. But most our government are zionists so thats not gonna happen!

  26. I’m not being funny but there’s nothing to stop people attending church more rather than sitting at home moaning.

  27. So weird. Like, no one is stopping him going to church or celebrating his religion. He can be as Christian as he wants to be. But instead he chooses to be racist.

  28. Eh?

Were not religious ffs do any of us really believe a 900 year old man built a boat big enough for two of each animal?

    Come on

  29. Another reason why Reform Ltd. can just fuck off.

  30. Nah keep all middle Eastern religious cults out. make Britain Pagan Again

  31. Fuck off Danny Kruger, I’m confidently atheistic if that’s ok with you.
