Hey look it’s more generic regime change cope. Has there ever been a protest anywhere we ‘disliked’ that we didn’t massively overhype and pretend that ‘this is the end’?
Heaven forbid we try a strategy of *not* destroying foreign countries and fucking over tens of millions of people in order to impose our ideological desires on others. Thus *creating* enemies in the process and destabilising entire regions.
The biggest irony of course is that our strategy thus far has done nothing but empower the iranian ‘regime’ and undermine attempts at influencing outcomes. T’was ever thus. Maybe next time it will finally work. Maybe the 4th regime change in a row in iran after a century of foreign powers destroying the place will finally solve the problem.
