Trump administration orders aging Colorado coal plant to stay open, one day before closing

1. The part that makes this crazier than past such orders:

   > “Ludicrously, the coal plant isn’t even operational right now, meaning repairs — to the tune of millions of dollars — just to get it running, all on the backs of rural Colorado ratepayers!”

2. Such an idiot who does out understand industrial production. You can’t just start something up that has been decommissioned with no effort. They would be better off building a new gas powered plant than to refire a decrepit coal plant.
