  1. Two nationalist political parties are selling merchandise made outside of the UK, despite calling for British manufacturing to be protected from foreign imports, it can be revealed.

Advance UK, which has been publicly backed by former English Defence League leader [Tommy Robinson](https://inews.co.uk/topic/tommy-robinson?srsltid=AfmBOopNi9YT1SuzupkbTYegeZ6RS1K97mPwCZj2kYhHb0mJs1saXSLV&ico=in-line_link) and tech billionaire [Elon Musk](https://inews.co.uk/topic/elon-musk?ico=in-line_link), advertises its branded clothing as “produced in the UK”.

While Britain First promises “the protection of British companies… from unfair foreign imports” as one of their campaign policies.

However, an investigation by *The i Paper* reveals hats, T-shirts and jumpers branded with the parties’ logos and sold on their websites were all made outside of the UK, in countries including Pakistan and China.

Labour Behind the Label, a campaign group that monitors exploitation and unfair practises in the textile industry, responded to our findings, saying the two anti-immigration parties are misguided.

“Their decision to source from cheap overseas factories – seemingly with little or no due diligence reflects the overall superficial commitment of these parties to justice, truth and fairness,” said Dominique Muller, their policy lead.

The findings come after this paper reported [Reform UK](https://inews.co.uk/topic/reform-uk-party?ico=in-line_link) was [using an official “Made in Britain” logo on their merchandise without permission](https://inews.co.uk/news/reform-made-in-britain-logo-without-permission-4103444?ico=in-line_link) from the organisations that represent the two leading Made in Britain trademark schemes.

    # ‘Produced in the UK’

Advance UK became a registered political party in December and claims to have gained more than 30,000 members since launching in early 2025. It positions itself as a burgeoning rival to Reform, setting out on its website how it differs from Nigel Farage’s party.

Leader Ben Habib has called for the UK to “onshore” all industries “from steel, to food, to energy”. Writing on X, he said: “A way to protect our producers is to impose tariffs on imports… Put first the UK, not producers in China and Germany”.

But like Reform and many other parties, they have an online shop where supporters can buy items, the profits of which help support the party.

A Union Jack is displayed on the online shop alongside the words, “Produced in Great Britain”.

  2. They’d be in trouble if their target audience could read.

  3. Most Reform Voters know that years of Tory and Labour rule is the reason why we can’t produce anything ourselves, at least Reform voters don’t get someone else to buy their pants for them.

  4. Britain First have always been the pound shop version of the EDL.

  5. Well we don’t make much in this country since we exported it all to Asia to clean our hands…

  6. ,Well i never. ‘Next it will be that we import nearly everything from abroad.

  7. Reminds me of when the Great Grifter Simon Dolan produced a load of anti-vax, anti-China merch. It was all made in China.

Anyone know what that muppet is up to these days?

  8. So what? It’s not their fault that current economic factors makes it prohibitively expensive to produce shirts in country.

“Shirts so expensive to make. Not even the nationalists are buying them”
    Is that a better headline?

I can be critical of the banking industry AND have a mortgage with a bank.

I can be a smoker AND favor higher taxes on tobacco.

  9. Well, if you can’t grift those you have grifted for the grift that they have grifted, then what’s the whole point. xD

  10. looking after their own pocket as always rather then other people, I would be surprised if they didn’t choose the most corrupt sweatshop.

  11. But but but… Where does the cotton come from??? /s

Shame all the spinning mills closed when we outsourced it to overseas because it was cheaper.

  12. Taking our country back from whom? Anyone who wears this stuff just gives off domestic abuse vibes and shows their private parts in public to passerby.

  13. Nationalists choosing to NOT pay British workers to make a product so the leaders can make some cheeky savings. It isn’t just about it being ironic or simply hypocrisy; it is the fact that these people are straight up lying to you to dismantle the West. They are given an opportunity to do something good, help sustain a British business so multiple British families can have a wage but choose instead to maximise profits for the people running the scam.

British manufacturers still exist. It isn’t as cheap but it is good quality and shows commitment to the cause if you were to do so. This is falling down at the first hurdle, this is nasty people manipulating you for their own financial gain. These Nationalists do not care about Britain. They do not care about you. You are marked as a target and they want your help to break the country you love.

  14. Ah, that is perfectly fine. it’s made in Britishstan afterall.

  15. It the MAGA hat made in China all over again, utter idiots.
