Trump announces strikes in Nigeria against Islamic State group targets • FRANCE 24 English

The US carried out a strike against Islamic State group militants in northwest Nigeria at the request of Nigeria’s government, US President Donald Trump and the US military said on Thursday, claiming the group had been targeting Christians in the region. FRANCE 24 correspondent Chinwe Ossundu reports the latest from Nigeria.

  15. Nigeria is interesting because three+ years ago, when Putin's Nord Stream pipeline collapsed, this African country began building a gas pipeline to Europe to replace Russian gas.

    However, shortly afterward, private military companies appeared along the pipeline's route in neighboring countries – Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso, military coups broke out, and instability halted the pipeline's construction.

ISIS is operating in North eastern nigeria, some of there locations is both known by authourities and civilians like ( lake Chad basin, Sambisa Forest, Mandara Mountains etc. But what happend to the Innocents Civilian in Sokoto.
