>”The cause of the fire remains under investigation.”
>”Fire engulfs the Vondelkerk shortly after midnight during New Year’s celebrations in Amsterdam. 1 Jan. 2026.”
Well, alrighty then.
Damn, 2026 has an awful beginning
$100 says it was an illegal muslim
I believe this is a contender for Darwin awards.
“nooo I dont want a nanny state, I want my trad fireworks, I want to blow up my cash”
*burns down a whole ass church*
Ban private explosives already
The Catholic church should review the fire safety of their buildings.
– We had the Notre Dame fire.
– In Spain they handled the Cordoba’s mosque and had anywhere fire ( yes. The church owns the mosque and calls it mosque-cathedral)
See of those building are historically important
Huh… you know, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to me that I should be reading about fires on New Year’s Day. Maybe it should do. At least these three weren’t deadly unlike the one in Switzerland.
Super sad … I cannot help but think we’re living in a time when responsibility is no longer a word the majority of the population understands.
