
Hi I’m doing some genealogy research and came across my great-grandparents’ marriage record from St. Martins Church in Latvia. They were living in Lithuania, which at the time was controlled by Russia. I’d love to have it translated but I don’t even know if it’s in Latvian. They were August Gustav Wilkat and Lena Berta Schweizer (#195). Thanks for any assistance!

it is german, only the names are in latvian
also, not every latvian or german has the paleographic training required to read and translate this, so this is not only about language but the script as well (which is usually most challenging part for someone not trained on historical handwritings)
