Industry is back, baby! The provocative British finance drama (it’s more interesting than it sounds) is one of the hottest shows around at the moment, and pretty much serves as a proving ground for top-notch new acting talent in the UK.

How to watch Industry season 4 in Australia

Industry season four is streaming in Australia on HBO Max from January 12, 2026.

What is Industry season 4 about?

We set our scene in London-based investment bank Pierpont, where in season one we watched a gaggle of fresh-faced recent hires go through the wringer and emerge much more calculating and compromised, as life at the sharp end of high finance takes its ethical toll. It’s all sex, drugs, betrayal, Machiavellian plotting, and money—so much money.

The whole thing moves along at a breakneck pace, seemingly edited by a Tiktoker on mescaline. So even if you can’t parse the financial jargon (a common complaint), the razzle dazzle and histrionic drama should keep you watching.

The cast of Industry season 4

Industry boasts a huge sprawling ensemble, but revolves around Marisa Abela as Yasmin Kara-Hanani, who is struggling with the legacy of her dirtbag dad, who is also a trader. Plus there’s Myha’la Herrold as American import Harper Stern; Ken Leung as perpetually angry managing director Eric Tao; and Miriam Petche as social media savvy hire Sweetpea Golightly.

New this season, we have Max Minghella as Tender CFO Whitney Halberstram; Charlie Heaton as financial journalist Jim Dycker; Kal Penn as Tender CEO Jay Jonah Atterbury; Kiernan Shipka as Tender executive assistant Haley Clay; and Claire Forlani as PR executive Cordelia Hanani-Spyrka.

Why we’re excited about Industry season 4

If Succession and The White Lotus taught us anything, it’s that bad people doing bad things makes for good television. And when the best young actors of their generation, along with a handful of weathered veterans, are doing all the wheeling and dealing, what’s not to like?
