As a Turk, I support any military operation against outlawed terrorist organizations, however I don’t support his populism. Another empty operation like Peace Spring in 2019, that achieved nothing, and gave the M4 highway back to Russians and Assad that the Turkish military did cut.
As you can see, it’s empty farmland, whit no significant city. I don’t think he’ll go for most northeastern part, since Americans are deployed there. Again, Turkish military will not cross the highway to annoy the Russians.
It is said that regime troops are deployed at the border, but this is not important, we’ve bombed them previously, and Russia doesn’t give a shit about them. So it’s either about Russia or USA.
I am following this war since 2013, so I can predict what’s going to happen. This is nothing but boosting his popularity by using the military, but it won’t work. People are not eating this trick.
Also I see the coming drama on internet and news about how TR is invading Syria, etc. But since it’s empty land, it won’t last long. Giving max two weeks until a ceasefire is signed with Russia yet again.
Tired of this shit.
