I’m a centre-left kind of guy. I know enough about Thatcher to know where she did some major damage. But I’ll grudgingly admit that she was principled. That she believed what she was doing was right. And that there was integrity and rigour behind her actions. Tories like Heseltine, Portillo, Clarke were erudite, earnest and moral.
This government isn’t fit to kiss their boots. Led by chancers and charlatans who have hand-picked the toadiest lickspittles and window lickers. We left the EU based on the idea of British exceptionalism and are being dragged down into a race to the bottom surrounded by a mob of grunting sub-medicrities

My mum works at a special needs school in Gove’s constituency and he visited once. Apparently he was the most awful man and could barely look any of the kids in the eye.
