I’ve watched Dead Man’s Shoes over 50 times. I dont think there’s another British film I’ve watched so much, Trainspotting a close second at 38 times

  1. Sexy beast. I don’t really have to watch it any more I know every line, every sound, it’s been on infinite repeat for 25 years.

  2. I would say the British film I’ve watched the most is definitely Watership Down. I seen that maybe round 200 times. I would watch that atleast once a week as kid. Which is pretty crazy thinking back if you know the film

  3. God, for me it’s a film I watched once and never again. Fantastic, but my idea of depicting such a horrific scenario that I never ever ever want to watch it again. A know a lot of people who consider it their fave film but, nahhhh, horrid.

About a Boy for me in terms of most watched ! Much nicer 🙂

  4. Finding someone who doesn’t love PC is like finding an honourable politician.

  5. I watched this movie just before I had a nervous breakdown….wouldn’t recommend!

  6. Excellent film, must have randomly saw this really late on Film4 in about 2010 I’d say one night and it absolutely stuck with me. The twist absolutely floored me the first time.

  7. I’ve not kept track but Snatch, Shaun of the Dead, Casino Royale and Skyfall are my most watched.

Snatch is at least 50 as I watch it minimum of twice a year.

I’ve watched all of the James Bond films at least a dozen times but Casino Royale and Skyfall are my go tos when I can’t decide which Bond to watch.

  8. I broke into Riber Castle on the strength of this movie, back when it was an abandoned zoo, before it got redeveloped.

  9. Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
The quotes are endlessly useful on a daily basis.

  10. Holy fuck, I completely forgot about this film!
Thank you for reminding me, I’m sticking this film in my playlist right now.

  11. Mines probably Withnail & I. I fucking love that film.

  12. Shallow grave. Under appreciated Danny Boyle film.

And sex lives of the potatomen which is very hard to find nowadays.

  13. Absolutely great seeing Paddy get the roles he’s always deserved. A straight line from “you’re right there, mate” to all the massive success he’s had recently. Top bloke too!

  14. I love it. He works so well with Shane Meadows. A Room for Romeo Brass was amazing too.

  15. Well I just watched one of my favourite movies for the first time. Thanks for the recommendation OP.

  16. When I was much much younger I rented out a film called Mary Poppins and I remember watching it 100 times. Haven’t watched it since. I wish I could say that I’ve watched other films this many times but unfortunately I can’t.

  17. Class film…. the “elephant” scene never fails to crack me and my brother up haha

  18. If I were you I’d get in that car and I’d get out of here man I’d gather them goonies an get whatever you got and come at me cause I’m gonna hit you all

  19. I still love the little bit of acting when Considine talks to the wife near the end. She asks about the knife he gave her son and he says “but it was blunt” that seems to completely throw her for a split second.
