Russia says Ukraine attacked Putin’s home, Kyiv calls this ‘lie’ • FRANCE 24 English

Russia accused Ukraine on Monday of having fired dozens of drones at one of President Vladimir Putin’s homes, an accusation that Ukraine called a “lie” aimed at undermining US-led efforts to end the war. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who does not typically announce drone strikes, said Ukraine had fired “91 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles” at Putin’s residence in the Novgorod region between late Sunday and early Monday, all of which were shot down.

  1. So what if Ukraine attacked putin? Why is it that putin can attack others home and damage them, and his should not be attack. Putin is lucky that I m not the one in zelensky s position.

  12. Hitting Putin's place, that sounds like the Russians have huge holes in their air defense, which is good for the Ukrainians. Russian military infrastructure is being strategically attrited, so striking the president's home is quite a negative indicator for the future of Russia's war efforts.

    Russia is bombing Ukrainian civilian homes and infrastructure, not the other way around.
    Putin owns multiple residences while Ukrainians are losing theirs.

  21. Apart the putin/russian bs. Considering that missiles and drones hit kiev and civilian buildjngs and considering the failed attack to Zelensky in Ireland, these russians have a cheek to accuse the ukrainians in attempting to bomb putjn's gold residence.

Couldn't care less whose place is attacked, the stupid, cancerous, useless war should have been de-escalated, stopped, and negotiated for closing years ago, it didn't because of corrupted bureaucrats, cowardice politicians, and globalist-owned fake news media all wanted to exploit it to save their political careers and advance their radical narratives against the disastrous domestic policy failures and radical socialism agendas, that have heftily funded them for years evaporated. Millions have died and been maimed, millions more will follow, none of that matters, only the narrative and agendas matter, as they are their lifeline for money and social public power.
