It’s viewed as unskilled and it’s badly paid. No one is going to drive from house to house at all hours for under £10 an hour.

Have they tried I don’t know something like paying them a decent amount ? I know for a fact I’d not be wiping arses for the wages they get paid. Their pay is wank. Better off workings nights at Tesco.
Even paying £20 an hour won’t do much to boost recruitment in nursing homes. I really can’t think of a worse job.
