  5. Cannon’s order isn’t just about whether the public sees the report, it’s literally keeping the author from referencing it in testimony because he’s afraid violating the injunction could have consequences. That’s wild

  6. The reason Smith was so tight-lipped in his deposition isn’t just caution he said Cannon’s order itself is why he didn’t even access Volume II of his own classified-docs report before testifying since the injunction still blocks that stuff.

    I’m old enough to remember the Clinton impeachment and Ken Starr was a news staple during that entire thing.

  28. A corrupt Trump appointed Judge fits Donald Trump’s existence like a rubber glove. The only thing worse is a President who still believes in Democracy, not having nationally televised hearings with Judge Cannon being questioned like Hillary Clinton who sat for 12 hours answering questions without hesitation… it won’t happen with even one of the hundreds of corrupt Republican politicians because Democrats are as cowardly as Republicans are corrupt.

  32. If you watched any of the questions he was answering. Jack didn’t need those papers, man has a steel trap brain. Besides saying “um” a bunch he gave them answers that some really didn’t want to hear.

  33. I’m currently reading through the transcript. Per the transcript, Judge Cannon is supposed to unseal Volume Two in the classified documents case on or by January 2nd. The President is currently petitioning for it to remain sealed longer. Additionally, the items presented to the Grand jury to secure an indictment are also sealed, this is common, but still, it’s another restriction that requires Jack Smith to give non-specific answers. This means Jack Smith was legally prohibited from answering questions with information that wasn’t already public knowledge. Jack Smith and his counsel asked for a DOJ lawyer to be present at the disposition, so that if any questions arose around what couldn’t be said it could be hashed out right there, the DOJ declined.

  34. She’s a POS and completely bias. She should be THROWN off the court for being clearly pro maga and not being able to be impartial. It’s beyond ridiculous that she was ever appointed to the federal bench but, republicans have no standards and don’t care about the law. Democrats need to take both gloves off and fight like our democracy depends on it because it literally does!

  38. US justice system is beyond corrupt, and in favor of the ultra wealthy. Elections have been rigged for decades (billionaires now buying them). Media, especially social media, are extremely biased and in the hands of the billionaires buying elections. Et cetera.

    The whole system is broken.

    There are no legal consequences for the ultra wealthy in the US; they are above the law. No one holds them accountable. They can rob the whole place empty if they want to, and that’s exactly what they are doing.
