From the organizers:

On Saturday January 10, 2026, at 2:30 pm, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Hudson Valley will host “The Real Immigration Crisis: Why it Matters and How You Can Help.”

In this educational presentation, Nancy Matsunaga, from CCoHOPE Indivisible’s Immigration Justice Committee, will give an overview of the complexity of the immigration situation in the United States. She will examine entry pathways and obstacles, key statistics, as well as the current crisis, with attention to legislative reforms that will help New York State defend and support its immigrant residents, such as NY4All and the Dignity Not Detention Act.

Come learn about meaningful steps you can take to support our immigrant friends and neighbors.
