7. So the common ordinary citizens are held to a different set of standards than members of congress?? What is the big deal that MEMBERS OF CONGRESS had their phone records supeoned and didn't have a say or weren't notified?? How many hundreds of times a day is this done on ordinary citizens and they don't know behind the scenes that their records are being reviewed? ISN'T THAT HOW AN INVESTIGATION WORKS (and many times it turns out the person is innocent – it's also used as a tool to rule people out!)? Anyone with half a brain knows how cellphone data works. If someone calls or texts you, there's going to be a record – so if someone shouldn't be calling or texting you – THAT'S ON YOU. You don't get immunity or the chance to block cell transcripts JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE A MEMBER OF CONGRESS. That should not give you immunity that any other citizen isn't subject to!! What a bunch of horse crap!!
