WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump announced on Friday that he is in perfect health and that he aced his cognitive exam.
“The White House Doctors have just reported that I am in “PERFECT HEALTH,” and that I “ACED” (Meaning, was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take,” he wrote on TRUTH Social.
Trump said that he believed any person running for president and vice president should be required to take the cognitive examination.
“P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination,” his post concluded. “Our great Country cannot be run by “STUPID” or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!”
Earlier this week, Trump denied there was anything wrong with his health after he went to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for a “secondary” physical.
He said that during the second physical, he got a CT scan and not an MRI.
Trump physician Sean Barbabella said that the president was in “excellent overall health,” according to The Hill newspaper.
“As part of that examination, we asked the President if he would undergo advanced imaging – either an MRI or CT Scan – to definitively rule out any cardiovascular issues,” Trump’s doctor said in response to a report from The Wall Street Journal about the president’s health.
“The President agreed, and our team of consultants performed a CT Scan. As we revealed in the post-examination report, the advanced imaging was perfectly normal and revealed absolutely no abnormalities.”
Trump did an interview with the Journal about his health and addressed some topics, including a bruise on his right hand.
The president told the newspaper that he takes more aspirin than his doctors recommend, which resulted in the hand bruises.
“They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart,” Trump said during the interview. “I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”

Observers concerned about Trump’s health noted in July of 2025 that his legs were swollen, but the White House said that was due to chronic venous insufficiency, according to CNN.
