Hard to even keep track of all the stupidity in this piece.
‘Assange should have been given bail long ago’. The last time he was bailed, he took steps to flee the country. He would be highly likely to do the same if bailed again.
‘He has been convicted of no crime’….. because he is trying to avoid being extradited to stand trial for a crime, and in any event he was convicted of failing to surrender as required under his bail and got 50 weeks imprisonment for it.
Finally someone in the media defends journalists, astonishing case this
You can’t reason with a vile bag of garbage like Patel. She takes our rights away, chipping at them by the year.
I’m sure most here hate Peter Hitchens, but his sensible case for Assange is a good one:
