Canada Post says our city is under a ‘red delivery service alert’ — which means no letters or packages will come your way until conditions are deemed safe for carriers

Canada Post says certain regions of the province, including Sault Ste. Marie, are under a “red delivery service alert” due to severe weather.

That means all mail delivery is suspended until conditions are deemed safe enough for employees.

“We encourage customers to clear the snow and ice from their walkways, stairs, and driveways, to ensure safe access to the front door for both their visitors, as well as their mail carriers, when service resumes,” says a Facebook alert from Canada Post.
