In the night of January 3, in the Obukhiv District of Kyiv Oblast, damage was recorded as a result of an attack by Russian drones.

According to the head of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, Russia launched a renewed drone attack on settlements in Kyiv region during the night. Air defense forces were active in the region, and enemy targets were shot down.

There are no casualties among the population. No hits on critical infrastructure facilities were recorded.

Damage in the Obukhiv District and the response of services

According to the head, damage was recorded in the district to two private houses, a garage, and two cars. In the houses, windows were broken, and facades and roofs were damaged.

All relevant emergency services are on the scene, documenting the consequences of the attack and assessing the damage caused, the head of the Oblast Administration added.

Air defense forces neutralized 80 of the 95 drones with which Russia attacked Ukraine since 18:00 on January 2. The situation is under control: services are working to eliminate the aftermath and continue monitoring.
