In this particular case, I’m not at all upset of being a guinea pig!
The key is how will nuclear energy end up being classified at the EU level.
Because that will decide if it can be funded from fosil phasing out funds or be regarded as an energy source that is just as dangerous as fosils.
Green or atleast transitional energy that some EU members want to be classified as with Romania and France included and on the other side Germany that shut down all or most of their nuclear stuff?
In the context of the ukrainian war and the energy crisis stemmed from it i would imagine it would be leaning more towards being classified atleast as transitional especially if US and Romania could convince our common buddy Poland that has to phase out alot of coal to sign off on it.
The kind of plant that can fly to Moscow?
So you can achieve energy independence if you really want to. Take notes Hungary and stop sucking putins little … bean.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7gtog_gOaGQ Interesting video from a nuclear energy professor about these kinds of reactors
I get to be the Debbie Downer who reminds the thread that none of these small modular reactors have yet been built anywhere.
But yeah, getting off the carbon teat.
