
[83] Switzerland banned nearly all forms of motor-racing after the tragic 1955 Le Mans disaster, where fragments of a crashed car flew into the stands, killing 83 spectators, the most deadly accident in motorsport history. Despite numerous attempts to lift it, the ban is still in place to this day.

Not entirely. Some Formula-E races and hill climb rallies have been allowed to take place
This can’t be true, I’ve seen rally races in the alps.
The Ban is on “Rundstreckenrennen”.
Most other forms of Racing are still possible.
Unless I’m misremembering it’s reauthorized by the ammendment of Via Sicura
