BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Clean energy tax credits once served as a tool for North Dakota homeowners to cut the cost of upgrades like new windows or solar panels. But these credits recently expired.
“You have to make sure you have a manufacturers certificate which lands on the contractors,” said Joey Vrooman, a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Padgett Bismarck.
Vrooman recommends checking with your installer before starting a home project, to avoid missing out on possible savings when tax season rolls around.
