Maduro made the defiant statement in an August 2025 speech at the Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas, responding to the US raising a bounty on him to $50 million for alleged narco-terrorism ties.
After massive attacks on the capital and capturing Maduro, the White House on Sunday mocked the President in a video on X.
The video showed an entire montage of Maduro warning Trump in his speech taunting the US and footage of the raid to capture the leader and his wife, Cilia Flores.
The 61-second clip features Maduro some scenes of Donald Trump from the press briefing on the Venezuela strikes. The US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that Maduro “had his chance – until he didn’t.”
“The Trump Admin will always defend American citizens against all threats, foreign and domestic,” it added.
