Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to a collision involving a Skoda Fabia on Rowborough Lane in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Police received the report at 1.28am.
No other vehicles were involved and minor injuries were reported.
Kalicia Rutherford, 20, of Nettlecombe Lane in Whitwell, has been charged with drink driving.
She is due to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on February 6.
