The temperature will drop, and the size of snowdrifts will increase – Latvia’s weather forecast for the week
On Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be quite cloudy, with the sun peeking through the clouds only in some places. Clouds in many areas will still bring snowfalls from time to time. During these days, the air will gradually become colder, with temperatures mainly ranging from -3 to -8 degrees.
From the middle of the week, the influence of an anticyclone will prevail, bringing drier weather, and the sun will appear more frequently between the clouds.
Frost will intensify and persist both during the day and at night. In some areas, the thermometer will approach -15 degrees.
