WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A home in White House sustained heavy damage after a Jeep crashed into it on Saturday evening, according to Smokey Barn News.
The crash happened just after 6 p.m. in the 3000 block of Indian Ridge Boulevard in White House.
Smokey Barn News said officials reported that the driver of the Jeep fled the scene toward Calista Road.
Cary Petitt, the assistant chief of the White House City Fire Department, said the crash damaged the garage and weakened the load-bearing structures, according to Smokey Barn News.
Smokey Barn News said the homeowner was advised not to use the bonus room until repairs are made.
Officials told Smokey Barn News that no one inside the home was injured.
