If this was a FF or FG TD they would lose the whip and be gone, if they do go then the government’s majority takes a slight hit but they won’t wobble, more interestingly if they don’t go FF & FG backbenchers will be fuming that there’s one rule for them and another for the greens
So if its to be bought, with what money and for how much? Or do we just… steal it?
Absolute madness this whole saga
Much respect to them.
They seem to be the only greens worth voting for next round.
I find the whole thing so ridiculous. I understand they belong to a political party, but surely they should be free to vote how they choose on various issues.
I have only heard negative things about Hourigan from people who have had dealings with her.
So…. what next? It’s a non-binding motion to ask gov to re-explore purchase of land? And gov had already decided not to purchase so I presume they’ll just ignore it as it’s not binding. Hence all the abstains. Why did SF bother so? And the 2 greens.
The Greens have sold their souls for a taste of the scraps from the FFG table
Its a 299 year lease that has been reviewed by the attorney general.
If it was from any other organisation than the Catholic Church we’d have a statue erected on O’Connell Street.
What the fuck is wrong with people that they cant just accept that and move on.

David Cullinane here lying through his teeth about it. It’s a non-binding vote, there is no mandate for anything.

So apparently Hazel Chu (of the Green Party) was on the board of the NMH when the agreement on the future of the NMH was reached, but decided she wasn’t arsed attending the board meetings, in which she obviously could have raised the concerns of her party.
I genuinely want to know, does the Green party realise how bad things are going to go for them in the next election?
