Snow continued to fall in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, throughout Sunday, January 4, creating dangerous conditions on the roads for locals.
The Met Office issued a yellow warning for many parts of Northern Ireland, advising “snow and ice has the potential to cause disruption to travel during the weekend and into Monday morning.”
Eugene Diamond recorded this footage at about 5:40 pm in Ballymena, which shows how the ongoing snowfall has transformed the town.
“It’s been snowing on and off like this now as past 12 hours on Broughshane Street. The roads around Ballymena are very slippery so be careful out there,” he wrote. Credit: Eugene Diamond via Storyful
