Since January 1st, 2026, a total of 1,255 foreign citizens from 38 countries included in the visa-free list have arrived in Belarus, most coming from neighbouring Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, sb.by reports citing Belarus’ State Border Committee



According to the source, since April 15th, 2022, a total of 1,259,424 European residents have visited Belarus — most coming from Lithuania (663,005), Latvia (405,229) and Poland (132,840).


As part of the extended visa-free regime for 35 European countries, 58,350 foreign citizens have come to Belarus since July 19th, 2024.


The State Border Committee also reminded that the President of Belarus had made a decision to extend visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries until December 31st, 2026, inclusive.
