The document provides for the construction and reconstruction of specialized complexes for raising and fattening bull calves. The implementation of this large-scale project is planned for the period from 2026 to 2030.
The decree defines the conditions for the implementation of investment projects and requirements for them. In particular, it provides for the granting of subsidies for interest payments on loans on a parity basis from the republican and local budgets.
In addition, the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus will be able to finance the construction and modernization of livestock complexes. Loans will be issued for up to 20 years with interest payments at the refinancing rate of the National Bank.
A lending limit has also been set — 85 basic units (3825 rubles) per animal stall.
As noted by Lukashenka’s press service, the decree is aimed at strengthening the material and technical base of the meat industry and increasing domestic beef production.
