DayOne Data Centers says it raised over 2.0bn$ and will use part of it to expand hyperscale sites in Lahti and Kouvola, Finland.

DayOne Data Centers, a Singapore-based data centre company, says it has raised over 2.0bn$ in new funding. The company called it a Series C equity round.

The round was led by existing investor Coatue. DayOne also named the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) as a participant.

DayOne said the money will support expansion in Asia-Pacific and Europe. A data centre is a large facility that houses computer servers for cloud and AI services.

In Europe, DayOne said it expects to advance its Finland platform. The plan is built around large “hyperscale” campuses in Lahti and Kouvola.
DayOne noted how it has previously raised 1.9bn$ in Series A and B rounds in 2024. It also cited up to 1bn$ in mezzanine debt secured in 2025.
