Latvia, Czechia, and France have become the next three teams to announce their selected 25-men rosters for the men’s ice hockey tournament at next month’s Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

Between the three teams, there are 19 active National Hockey League (NHL) players selected: six on Team Latvia (who were also the first six named to that team’s preliminary roster in June 2025); 12 on Czechia, including four-time NHL All-Star David Pastrňák; and Alexandre Texier of the Montreal Canadiens on Team France.

The 75 players named on Tuesday (6 January) play for clubs in the United States, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Czechia, Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, Austria, Slovakia, and France.

Roman Červenka could play at his fifth Olympic Games for Czechia, with the 40-year-old having made his debut at Vancouver 2010 and appearing also in 2014, 2018, and 2022.

Another 40-year-old selected is France’s Pierre-Édouard Bellemare, the 10-season NHL veteran now playing for Ajoie in the Swiss National League, who is set for an Olympic debut.

As National Olympic Committees have the exclusive authority for the representation of their respective countries at the Olympic Winter Games, athletes’ participation at Milano Cortina 2026 depends on their NOC selecting them to represent their delegation at the Games.
